Indications/Uses
Add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of patients w/ stable angina pectoris who are inadequately controlled by or intolerant to 1st-line anti-anginal therapies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take during meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Parkinson's disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless legs syndrome, & other related movement disorders, severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min).
Special Precautions
Not for acute angina attacks, nor as initial treatment for unstable angina nor MI, nor in pre-hospital phase nor during the 1st days of hospitalisation. Can cause or worsen parkinsonian symptoms. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Moderate renal impairment. Avoid during pregnancy. Do not use during breastfeeding. Childn <18 yr. Elderly >75 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Dizziness, headache; abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting; rash, pruritus, urticaria; asthenia.
